Keiki
Talk Magazine was founded by Kelly Greenberg Noles, a fist-time mom and graphic designer, and Vance Noles, a first-time dad and an
extraordinary law enforcement national park ranger. After the birth of
their first child, Bridger Samuel, they realized they really didn't'
know anything about raising a child - especially on the island of
Hawaii.
Kelly spent hours on the internet and made numerous
telephone calls looking for family-friendly fun on The Big Island.
Eventually, she would find an event or activity that she knew her son
would enjoy. Unfortunately, she usually found these things out after
they had already taken place.
Frustrated, Kelly started talking
to other moms and found out they felt the same way. Plus, as she talked
with more parents, she realized she wasn't alone. We all needed help.
Parenting was hard work.
So, since Kelly had designed
publications before, she, along with her very supportive and loving
husband Vance, decided to start a magazine dedicated to parents and
families on The Big Island of Hawaii. And.. Keiki Talk was born.
